Why invest in an accelerator for Latinas?
Kauffman Foundation research reports that female entrepreneurship, especially in high growth-fields, could be the catalyst for economic growth in America.
According to the American Express State of Women-owned Businesses 2014 Report, in the U.S. mainland women are opening an average of 1,200 businesses daily, twice the rate three years ago.
The report states that women-owned businesses generate more than $1.4 trillion in revenue and employ more than 7.9 million people.
Latinas are paving the way, opening businesses six to one above other market segments. Providing capital, resources and education to Latina entrepreneurs is key to unleashing the potential of our economy.
